PEANUT ISLAND Sunrise PADDLE BOARD EXCURSION

90 minute Sunrise paddle board excursion around Peanut Island with a master naturalist. This paddle board excursion will depart from a predetermined location and head over to Peanut Island. On the way over to Peanut Island we may encounter spotted eagle rays, colorful starfish and a manatee or two. Once at Peanut Island we will either travel to the natural lagoon or to the snorkeling rocks. This excursion will depart an hour or two before high tide depending on the tide level. This tour is recommended for experienced paddlers. On our paddle over to Peanut Island, we will need to paddle across a boat channel and may have to fight a strong current in a few places. Wind can also make this a challenge. Have no fear your guide will be there to help you if needed. In the winter months we will look for manatees and in the summer months we will have time to do a little snorkeling. The water at Peanut Island during high tide is some of the prettiest crystal clear aquamarine water around South Florida.
RESERVATIONS REQUIRED IN ADVANCE There is an age limit on the Group Eco Tour. 13 and up to be on your own paddle board and must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older. We do make exceptions for those under 13 that have paddle boarded before. Rentals, private group tours and lessons the age limit is 7 and up. As always anyone younger then our age limits can still enjoy paddle boarding by riding on the front of an adults board |
